If you can cover it with a quarter, it might be repairable. Generally, smaller pits (less than an inch in diameter that don't go too deep) can usually be repaired with a resin-based material professionally injected into the damaged area (as long as the pit is not in the driver's line of sight). This prevents further damage and restores the structural integrity of your windshield, without removing and replacing the glass. Windshield repair is safe, effective, convenient and takes less than 30 minutes to complete    In most cases, your insurance will pay for windshield repair and waive your deductible.

Call Distinct AutoGlass to have it repaired as soon as possible. Windshield repairs should be done by professionals, who can tell you if your windshield can be repaired or if it must be replaced use OE-approved glass.

If your windshield is not repairable and must be replaced, it is highly recommended that it be replace with original equipment quality glass.  Many glass shops now offer budget-priced glass made in China that does not necessarily have the strength of the original windshield.  Distinct AutoGlass uses O-E approved glass.
